CURATOR OF TEMPS ZERO (IMAGE & SOUND PROJECTS + PERFORMANCES)
Stéphane Charpentier engages an introspective photographic language to build enigmatic long-term analog series. His high contrast black and white images catch moments from an endless vision suspended between humanity’s struggles and hopes. He has made exhibitions all over Europe and also shows his work through photographic film projections.
In addition to his photographic works, Stéphane creates short experimental films, installations and music videos. He often collaborates with musicians, and took part to the creation of the band Oiseaux-Tempête (Sub Rosa).
He is curating the Temps Zero projects since 2013 (international collective gathering photographers, video-makers, sound artists, and presenting performances, exhibitions, workshops).
